Tim Rhyne

Bio

Tim Rhyne is an engineer, programmer, and data analyst at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Tim started his career as a production control specialist at the Y-12 Nuclear Weapons Plant in 1980. He transferred to ORNL in 1984 where he has worked since. At ORNL, Tim has held leadership roles in numerous long-term projects, including the ORNL Waste Management Database and waste tracking (radiological and chemical waste), NASA's ORNL Distributed Active Archive Center (online biogeochemical data archive), NASA's Mercury Metadata Search and Data Retrieval system, USGS's National Biological Information Infrastructure project, Homeland Security's National Asset Database, and Homeland Security's Chemical Security Assessment Tool (CSAT). He is currently the lead of CSAT's Risk Analysis Team.
