CSMD Contributes to Summit Supercomputer Acceptance

Staff researchers in the Computer Science Research group (CSR) made significant contributions to the development and execution of Summit acceptance tests in the area of programming environment and tools. A wide range of functionality and performance tests were developed, covering programming models, compilers, debuggers, performance profiling tools, and communication runtimes. The Summit acceptance team included a few CSR staff (Michael Brim, Swen Boehm, and Wael Elwasif), while other staff (Oscar Hernandez, Swaroop Pophale, and Geoffroy Vallee) provided support to other aspects of acceptance preparation.
