Kent Campbell

Kent Campbell is a Full-Stack Software Engineer with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Center for Infrastructure Security Analysis (CISA) Program, as part of Chemical Security Assessment Tool (CSAT) systems support. CSAT is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Kent joined ORNL in 2020 and supports CSAT with expertise as a programmer and database developer.

Prior to coming to ORNL, Kent worked as a programmer/analyst, and project lead in a diverse number of fields, including radiation dose modeling, hydrologic modeling and hydrodynamic modeling, software development and design, IT support, and model input/output QA/QC.

Kent has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications, including “Anisotropy Analysis of Ultra-Fine Grain Graphite and Pyrolytic Carbon,” “Cold Water and High Ice Cover on Great Lakes in Spring 2014,” and “Development and application of a North American Great Lakes hydrometeorological database - Part I: Precipitation, evaporation, runoff, and air temperature.”
