Evaluating emerging computing architectures for scientific discoveries
The mission of this group is to work closely with domain scientists to reassess the relationship between computing and DOE’s scientific mission, and to design and prototype scientific computing infrastructures of tomorrow. It also coordinates with other groups across ORNL and other national labs to meet the computing needs of the DOE science mission. Further, it conducts collaborative research with external researchers in industry, academia, and other laboratories to investigate computing’s rapidly changing landscape.
