Richard Glassbrook

Bio

Mr. Glassbrook has utilized leading edge of technology for over 45 years in general and technical management with strategic planning and implementation, business development, acquisition and management of HPC hardware and software to achieve organizational objectives in both research and production environments.  In addition to DOE, he has supported DOD, NASA, NOAA, and NIST, plus vendors and contractors for high-end systems.  Prior to supporting the FTG, he was a Senior Research Scientist at Georgia Tech for the Keeneland Project, an NSF cooperative agreement for the deployment of an innovative GPU-accelerated HPC system to the open science community through XSEDE.  While on Keeneland, he served on the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment Advisory Board.
