Robert Records

Bio

Robert Records is the Technical Lead for the U.S. Department of Energy Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Program (ARM) Data Center at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Rob leads technical staff at the ARM Data Center and collaborates with ARM staff at eight other national laboratories, as well as scientists from other institutions who provide technical support for ARM instruments and associated data products. Robert has served as the Operations d for ARM from 2012 to 2016 before taking on the role of ARM Data Center Operations Technical Lead. The ARM Data Center, an important component of the ARM facility, is where data collected at ARM observatories around the world are routed, processed, archived, and made available to the science user community.

During his 16 years at ORNL, Robert has expertly served in management roles at several additional projects, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Southeastern Transportation Corridor Pilot Program, the U.S. Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board, and the DHS Regional Technology & Integration Initiative.
