Kshitij Mehta

Bio

Dr. Kshitij Mehta is a Computer Scientist in the Scientific Data Group at Oak Ridge National Lab. His interests are in large-scale data management, performance analysis and tuning of I/O intensive applications, workflow tools for online data management, and knowledge management and reproducibility in scientific computing.

Prior to joining ORNL, Dr. Mehta worked as an HPC Research Scientist at TOTAL E&P, where he worked on accelerating seismic applications for heterogenous machines using directive-based programming models such as OpenACC. 

Dr. Mehta received his PhD in Computer Science in 2013 from University of Houston, and his Bachelors in Computer Engineering in 2005 from University of Mumbai, India.
