Abstract: We constructed a network describing co-authorship between scientists in the field of peridynamics in order to analyze the evolution of the peridynamics community. Using tools from social network analysis and topological data analysis, we were able to quantify the evolution of the network from 2000 to 2019, identify the most collaborative scientists in the field today, and suggest collaborations that would fix structural holes in the network. We also constructed an interactive network visualization tool that displays all of these results and allows for further exploration.
